The Seattle Underground
The Underground of Seattle is best known for it's great day time tours and friendly staff . When the tours are over and the sun goes down the underground turns into a pool of paranormal activity. NWPIA has investigated the Underground of Seattle 4 times in 2008 and was never disapointed. From hair pulling to ghostly figures standing in the hallways the Underground is a must to investigate.
Historic Wellington
Wellington was an old Rail Road town that sprung up in the late 1800's. In 1910 an avalanche swept 2 train down the hill side killing over 96 people. Titled " The worst train disaster in the United States" the town was doomed and never recovered. By 1936 the town was all but gone leaving very little behind.
NWPIA started investigating Wellington in 2004 and every year after that. The town may be gone but the ghost from the the past haven't. Strange sounds, a child voice calling out for it's mother, dark shadow figures moving around, and ghostly figures peeking around the snowshed pillars are just a few of the paranormal activity.
Robert Lang Recording Studios
Standing in a room that has 4 million dollars worth of equipment is exciting enough, but add in a grumpy ghost, a small ghost child, and a ghost called Dubby, that's priceless. NWPIA has had the pleasure of investigating the recording studio several times in 2008 and has had great sucsess in our investigations. Shadows, voices and ghostly images are just a few of the paranormal things that are going bump in the night. By far the best part of the studio,.... is getting to know Robert and Paul.

Robert Lang has a slab of Italian marble that contains the image of Jesus Christ standing on the Mount.
He was cutting the marble to lay in one of the rooms of the house when he saw a flash of white light and the image made itself clear to him. Lang has shown the marble to several ministers around the Midwest and Seattle. In a letter dated March 15, 1994, Reverend Roger O'Brien of St. Luke's Parish wrote, "For a Christian, it is hard not to see here a radiant figure of the risen Lord."
For the past several years, Lang has brought the slab with him to Mexico, where he resides most of the year. During Easter celebrations, he loans it to the Catholic church of Puerto Vallarta, Our Lady of Guadalupe, where pilgrims view it as a religious icon. "I don't make a habit out of going to church," Lang says, "but yeah, I believe in Christ."
The Story of the Stone
Robert Lang Studios Preliminary Investigation April 05 2008
One of the NWPIA investigators ran across a story in the Seattle publication The Stranger about possible paranormal activity at the Robert Lang Studios in Seattle, WA. The story included both accounts that suggested a haunting and of a discovered religious relic that depicted a Christ scene in marble that included many other symbolic images that relate to the birth, life, temptation, death, and ascension of Christ. The investigator forwarded the story to the NWPIA case manager who initiated contact with the studio manager and they arranged a preliminary investigation for 04/05/2008.
The Story
There are two components to this story, one of a haunting and another around the discovery or revelation of a religiously symbolic icon. The focus of this initial investigation was to determine whether any physical evidence to support the claims of haunting could be established.
Robert Lang, knew the suspected spirit, or Dubby, during his lifetime. They met in the 1970’s and were instantly drawn to each other, forging a close friendship that lasted for several years until Dubby passed in 1979. They had the shared dream of opening recording studios in Seattle and on Orcas Island. Before Dubby passed, he indicated to Robert that he had buried treasure on the property that Robert owned to fund the construction of his recording studio. Robert ended up finding that buried money and used the funds to help build his recording studio at Richmond Beach, near Seattle. Many of the people that work at the studio, and that have recorded there, have experienced things that lead them to believe that Dubby’s spirit is tied to the location.

The finding of the object as a revelation
The flash of light and the clarity of mind that occurred when you found the image is consistent with reports of other revelations. The identification of the images and your ongoing ability to perceive new symbolism within the image underscores the importance of this message to you. Your comprehension and interpretation of the symbolism of the image could also be considered a revelation, or message from God to you. There is precedence for objects and thoughts to come as revelations and the obviously the Catholic Church accepts the possibility as most of the messages and works of the Saints were driven by a revelation of some sort.
This object may or may not ever become officially recognized by the Church as a religious icon, but your faith and the faith of the others that believe in its sanctity cannot be questioned. While we have no scientific means to determine whether there is power in the object itself, I have no doubt regarding the power of the faith held by you and others that believe in its divine origin. In any case, no amount of validation would sway a skeptic; it would not be called faith if it were a tangible concept that was understood to be a truth or an absolute.
There were positive results for EVPs in three distinct voices or sound ranges, while most were considered “Class C” or unintelligible, a couple of them were “Class B” being somewhat understandable, though the results were subject to different interpretations across listeners. Two EVPs demonstrated rhythmic tapping that were inaudible at the time of the recording.
